The WW Ops Robotics Strategy team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated person to add project management to support our research and development products as we build solutions for the global fulfillment network. WW Ops Robotics is responsible for the development of global automation to improve the safety and productivity of our fulfillment operations. We design and develop robotic solutions that can be back-built into existing buildings and incorporated into the designs of next generation buildings bringing automation to packing, picking, stowing, and more. Amazon is seeking a leader to support the development and management of advanced automation technologies. This position requires the ability to innovate, analyze, plan, organize, implement, and manage process improvement projects to maximize safe, economical, and effective use of materials,
· Experience working with finance, product development teams, and customers to define requirements and develop high-level process/systems solutions. · One plus year relevant work experience in project/program management · One plus year work experience in engineering, product development or manufacturing with highly-automated systems and robotics · Using a broad technical background and an ability to “roll up your sleeves” to jump in if needed. · Bachelor’s degree in business operations, engineering or a related technical field. · Operational experience in Amazon fulfillment or other e-commerce
