As an Events Manager on the Startup Business Development team within AWS, you will have the exciting opportunity to build and manage events that support startups and the AWS Global Private Equity program. Through executive events, developer workshops, and other events that drive program engagement, you will help build mindshare, deepen relationships, and broaden use of AWS among private equity startups. Measuring and analyzing results for your events – from CSAT to business impact – is critical to continually raising the bar and exceeding customer expectations. You must be comfortable working with executives and also cross functional, global teams in dynamic organizations. The right candidate is a hands-on
· 5+ years of relevant experience managing high-tech · 5+ years of experience measuring, analyzing and reporting data from events. · A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent equivalent additional experience · Ability to travel up to 25% of the time· A successful track record developing and executing events that generated measurable results. · Prior experience with Salesforce, Marketo, and event registration platforms · Experience with web communications, event coordination tools, project management tools · Experience coordinating EBCs and/or customer events · Passion for startups –understanding of
