Events and Communities Manager, Global Accounts Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an organized, self-directed Events and Communities Manager to accelerate customer adoption of AWS’s cloud computing platform, through a proactive, data-driven approach. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast-growing business. In this role, you will own Global Accounts field marketing events and lead a community of key customers. You will be responsible for top-level business goals and will own management, measurement, and execution of programs to drive customer engagement. In this role, you will work closely with customers, Sales leaders, Business Development, Solution Architects, and other marketers to create the best customer experiences. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, extremely organized individual with experience managing high-profile, complex programs with multiple stakeholders. · 7+ years of proven experience in project management within a marketing discipline · Experience of building marketing events from conception to completion · Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or relevant field of study · Experience with industry tools including events management (e.g. Splashthat), CRM (e.g. Salesforce), and social media platforms · Ability to plan and prioritize, and identify and resolve problems to produce measurable results · Superior written and verbal communication skills to work with a multiple global stakeholders · Excellent time management, organizational, project
