The PDM is critical to Microsoft's strategy of being a partner-first company that empowers every organization to achieve more. The PDM is a business development and partner management role managing a portfolio of partners and accountable for driving joint impact for the partners and Microsoft. The opening is on the Partner Development team within Microsoft's US One Commercial Partner (OCP) organization. The role has special focus on helping to accelerate the growth and partnership of a set of Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) funded by M12 . M12 is Microsoft's venture capital fund investing in high-growth B2B startups around the world. The PDM will lead the US relationships of a set of M12 funded companies focused on Applications

Drive Business Growth Building and executing partner business plans in the US which lead to Co-Sell wins between the partners and Microsoft's customers Collaborating with M12, US sales and OCP teams to develop holistic relationships and deliver joint value to the partners and Microsoft Be the trusted advisor to the partners as they develop and execute business plans Secure and coordinate resources and programs to enable partner growth Evangelize partner solutions with the US Microsoft sales teams, clearly articulate the partner value propositions to the Microsoft teams and foster proactive engagement
5+ years of experience in partner development, channel development, sales, business development and alliance management in the technology industry Ability to clearly understand and articulate new technologies and business value Familiarity with cloud computing, application development and Microsoft's product offerings especially in the area of Applications and Infrastructure Ability to influence and impact senior leaders in partner organizations Strong executive presence including communication and presentation skills and a high degree of comfort with large and small audiences Understanding customer
