Marketplace Softlines team Business Development Manager
Amazon Services is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for our US Marketplace Softlines team. The individual will be chartered with managing a portfolio of high-value, fast growing, national and international Softlines brands (clothing, shoes, watches, jewelry, luggage) and with helping these accounts develop strategically to reach commonly defined performance goals. The Marketplace Softlines business is one of the fastest growing categories at Amazon, with significant opportunities to delight our customers with great selection, competitive pricing, and superior shopping convenience. As an organization, Amazon’s North American Seller Services is highly influential by coordinating across Amazon customers, Amazon category teams, and Amazon Sellers. The individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing large, complex relationships with key Seller partners with significant bottom-line impact. Ideal candidates must possess: · 5+ years of successful account management or business development experience in e-commerce or other relevant industries · Demonstrated success in developing key accounts using a consultative, solutions-focused approach · Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions · Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly · Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong bias for action · Bachelor’s
