We're looking for an exceptional leader and cross-team collaborator to partner with stakeholders to optimize global Data Platform Open Source Software (OSS) sales with a focus on winning NoSQL workloads with CosmosDB, OSS Relational Database workloads onto Azure Database Service for MySQL/PostgreSQL/MariaDB, and winning new projects onto SQL on Linux. In addition, this role will serve as the subject matter expert and a field support resource for the overall

Primary accountabilities include: Global Sales and Consumption Leadership: Manage and deliver WW revenue and consumption results for Data Platform Open Source Software workloads Scale Field Sales Enablement: Teach and coach WW Solution/Technical Sales Managers and Specialists in Data Platform Open Source Software to ensure quality and performance is elevated and optimized. Set the readiness roadmap and role expectations to deliver on the business Community Advocacy: Lead and deliver the Data Platform Open Source Software strategy of global STU, Blackbelt Sales community, and through-partner sales
Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience developing, architecting or selling data platform solutions to enterprise companies Professional experience managing communities or overseeing sales enablement or sales strategy Strongly Preferred: 10+ years recognized and rewarded experience selling Data Platform Open Source Software business solutions to large/global enterprise customers required Strong knowledge of data-related enterprise software solutions and platform competitor landscape, business drivers, and emerging trends required Strong understanding of Data Platform Open Source Software
