Come join the AWS Fraud Prevention team and help us prevent fraud and abuse on AWS, the largest and fastest growing public cloud provider. Fraudsters are continually looking for new ways to steal from us. We invent new techniques to detect and stop these bad actors, leveraging the latest in data mining, predictive modeling, and enforcement. Our team, AWS Fraud Prevention, is a centralized team within AWS that protects all AWS services from fraud and abuse, and ensures the experience of legitimate AWS customers is not negatively impacted by a few bad actors. The AWS Fraud Prevention team is looking for a passionate, results-oriented Business Analyst to own defining, building, and scaling metrics and analytical insights that will measure the success and drive the day-to-day behavior for the AWS Fraud Prevention team. In this role, you will work closely with members of the team to ensure we are capturing

· Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or related field · 5-7+ years of industry experience in data analysis. Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases · 3+ years experience in SQL and manipulating large data sets in a database · 5+ years advanced proficiency in Excel (including VBA, Pivot Tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc)· Advanced proficiency in SQL, ETL, data modeling, and working with “Big Data” · Computer
