Catch a fraudster if you can. Your challenge is to build distributed systems that prevent fraud attacks and the imaginative ways fraudsters try to do bad things. We invent new techniques to detect and stop these bad actors, leveraging the latest in data mining, predictive modeling, and enforcement. Our broader team, AWS Fraud Prevention, is a centralized team within AWS that protects AWS services from fraud and abuse, and ensures the experience of legitimate AWS customers is not negatively impacted by a few bad actors. You will get a chance to learn and utilize various technologies that power our applications, such as EC2, Lambda, Sagemaker, Kinesis, and DynamoDB. Working closely with Sr SDEs and machine learning research scientists, you will help build the next generation fraud prevention systems utilizing the state of the art in machine learning, streaming applications, graph databases, workflows and serverless solutions. • Candidates must have a Bachelor in Computer Science Engineering or related field. • Excellent problem solving skills. • Possess an extremely sound understanding of areas in the basic areas of Computer Science such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, Databases. • Be able to write Amazon quality code in an object oriented language - preferably in Java in a Linux environment. • Candidate must have good written and oral communication skills, be a fast learner and have the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced development environment. • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
