Consumer Electronics team Intelligence Engineer III
Business Intelligence Engineer III Amazon's Consumer Electronics team is seeking a talented, creative, and customer-obsessed Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join the team in our downtown Seattle, WA location. This role will partner closely with the business teams to understand the data-needs of the Consumer Electronics community and ensure that the business teams are able to answer hard questions with real data. This individual will participate in business reviews and new-initiatives. They should be able to identify and help close long-standing visibility gaps in the information available, as well as predict up-and-coming data-needs and visibility gaps when participating in discussions about new products or features. A successful individual should be highly collaborative and organized. You should be capable of prioritizing multiple deliverables and effectively communicate progress and blockers. You should feel comfortable working across multiple data-sources, and be capable of participating
· Bachelor’s degree in math, finance, engineering, statistics, or related discipline is required. · Proven analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases. · Proficient in SQL · Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams · 5+ years as a Business Intelligence Engineer, Business Analyst, Data Engineer, or similar roles · Ability to self-direct, multitask, and prioritize a constantly evolving workload · Master’s
