As the Program Manager for this area, you will research new models and techniques for understanding and growing user retention by leveraging both online engagement data and offline research studies. Driving hands on analysis and user research from large volume for telemetry data using various tools and models including your own Drive definition of user level metrics and analysis approach to define success and failure models for customers interacting with Bing Drive reliable process to track contribution from key product initiatives supporting the metrics across product planning, experimentation (A/B testing) and post ship Driving actionable insights from data to assist senior executives and engineering leads in making key business and product level decisions on complex problems.
Required Skills: Bachelors or master's degree in computer science or related engineering field 3+ years of Data hacking skills and knowledge in one or more (analytical) programming languages, e.g., Python, R, C#, SQL 2+ years of experience with Technical Program management and/or experience working with teams across multiple disciplines Preferred Skills: Fundamental knowledge in statistics and mathematics: p-values, confidence intervals, etc. Experience with building machine learning models on large scale data Passion for data driven decision making with strong communication and collaboration skills
