Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced Global Export Compliance Manager, to support our business on a broad range of export compliance matters, including sanctions screening and governance coordination. This role will be the focal point for AWS trade compliance due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions, will develop and implement Internal Control and Technology Control Plan, and will develop and manage a records retention program related to areas of responsibility and in conjunction with extended team. In this role, you will interact with AWS Development, Datacenter Engineering, AWS Services, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Legal, Tax, and other internal businesses and external stakeholders to drive export compliance. This position will report directly to the Head of Global Trade and Product Compliance (GPTC) for AWS in Seattle. AWS is at the forefront of providing a broad set of global cloud-based services including compute, storage, databases, networking,

· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution · 10+ years of experience in trade compliance with focus on global computer hardware/software trade and cloud export controls · Experience with off shore R and D and technology transfer licenses · Experience with M and A Due Diligence including disclosures and resumption of service and support requests · Experienced with US Export Administration Regulations, especially as they relate to encryption and telecommunications · Knowledge and experience with ITAR controls · Master’s Degree is a plus, but not required · Information technology equipment
