Systems Engineering team Datacenter Critical Environments
The Datacenter Critical Environments Systems Engineering team is responsible for transforming Microsoft's global datacenter CE operations through deep telemetry, data analytics and integrative automation. Working in lock-step with Microsoft's cloud service development and operations teams, CESE powers telemetry service management and IoT architectures that contemplate end to end Cloud availability. The Principal Technical Program Manager is responsible for the development and execution of strategic pr ograms that improve datacenter physical infrastructure operations, incident detection, response and resolution while showcasing Microsoft's Azure, IoT, and augmented reality platforms. The successful candidate will drive new x-organizational processes and development of software scenarios for the integration of datacenter industrial control systems and Microsoft Cloud services. They will lead big data, machine learning and AI engineers to derive insight and action from operational telemetry

Knowledge, experience and skills: Familiar with data center infrastructure including facilities power delivery, cooling, physical network, technical operations, and building management systems (BAS, EPMS, SCADA) Demonstrated experience in incident management, root cause analysis , threat assessment and/or complex systems simulation Demonstrated ability to write, speak, and present information while effectively influencing executive audiences Demonstrated critical thinking, precision questioning and problem solving skills Excellent team building and collaboration skills across teams Methodical,
Preferred, not required: Experience in IoT, data modeling , m achine l earning and /or AI preferred Proficiency in SQL, Python , R preferred Advanced degree in business, computer science, management information systems, mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
