The Global Talent Management team (GTM) is centrally responsible for creating and evolving Amazon’s talent programs and processes. People Analytics is a growing start-up team inside of GTM with a direct impact on 500,000+ Amazonians across all of our businesses and locations around the world. We are a diverse team of data engineers, business analysts, business intelligence engineers, data scientists, and research scientists. We use data to refine and pitch ideas to Amazon’s Senior Vice President of HR and other executives about how to improve existing talent programs like Career Development, Performance Management, and Employee Retention, or invent new ones that address the evolving needs of our diverse employee base. We also use various analysis techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and drive direct action at the executive, front-line management, and HR leadership levels. We are looking for an experienced, business intelligence obsessed Technical Program Manager to help

· BA/MA in Information Systems, Math/Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field/equivalent industry experience · 5+ industry experience, working closely with business analysts, data engineers, data/research scientists, or similar disciplines · 3+ years management or TPM experience · Hands-on experience writing optimized code in R, SQL, or equivalents · Experience creating/evaluating interactive data visualizations in Excel, QuickSight, Shiny/RStudio, Tableau, or equivalents · Business-facing verbal and written communication skills; able to present and clearly communicate
