Global Talent Management (GTM) is centrally responsible for creating and evolving Amazon’s talent programs and processes. Analytics is a growing start-up team inside of GTM with a direct impact on 300,000+ Amazonians across all of our businesses and locations around the world. We regularly use data to pitch ideas and drive conversations with Amazon’s Senior Vice President of HR and other executives about how to improve existing talent programs like Career Development and the Annual Review or invent new ones that address the evolving needs of our diverse employee base. As the Leader of GTM Analytics, you would own building the vision and strategy for how we drive the measurement and analysis of Amazon’s global talent programs. In this new role, you would also be responsible for developing and scaling your own startup team while strategically influencing partner teams in accordance with that vision. Basic Qualifications: · PhD with 8+ years in HR analytics; or equivalent combination of relevant experience and post-graduate degree · History of hiring, developing, and supporting a team of highly technical analysts; small team leadership and mentorship · Success managing multiple projects with competing priorities in a highly matrixed environment · History of building strong collaborative relationships and influencing peers and executive-level stakeholders with data, research and compelling narrative content; able to present and clearly communicate complex data, analyses, and findings to non-experts
