Amazon is currently recruiting for a 3-month summer internship at our company headquarters in Seattle. In this role you will be part of the Talent Assessment team and work closely with teams across Amazon to assist in the development of innovative assessment strategies for selection. You will work with I-O psychology staff and business leaders to perform job analyses, competency modeling, assessment development activities and assessment validation. Successful candidates will have experience in assessment development and statistical analysis, be detail-driven, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. You will: · Be responsible for all aspects of one major project with mentorship from a Talent Assessment team member; you
· Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field; To be eligible you must be currently enrolled in an accredited doctoral degree program in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field. · Relevant experience in applied selection practices, research, or talent acquisition strategies · Experience in the selection assessment development cycle: job analysis, content creation, validation, and/or scoring · Proficiency in at least one statistics program (SPSS, R, SAS, etc)· Previous work experience in recruiting or assessment strategies · Excellent written and oral communication
