In this newly created role, you will be partnering with the Microsoft Human Resources Leadership Team and the CHRO to execute on some critical aspects of the people and culture agenda. This agenda is foundational to ensure that addressing employee relations matters in a principled and empathetic way is top of mind in our Human Resources strategy and in what we aspire to achieve for the employee experience at Microsoft. This role will lead and create a dedicated "center of excellence" focused on Global Employee Relations to serve as a steward of our MSFT philosophy, policies, practices and governance in handling sensitive
Responsibilities: Lead a team responsible for employee experience management related to employee relations Partner with other organizations (Employment Law, employee relations investigative team, Office of Legal Compliance, etc) that lead investigations, including how we continue to globally scale investigations work and create a globally consistent employee experience for escalations Create, develop, assess and measure employee relations philosophy, standards, processes and policies to ensure they support, encourage and lead our cultural evolution as well as effectively balance employee experience
Qualifications BS/BA degree or equivalent experience is required MBA or MA in HR-related field, along with Employee Relations experience preferred High degree of emotional intelligence and empathy Demonstrates advanced knowledge and the ability to navigate challenging and complex situations Demonstrated success in managing HR Programs in a complex, matrix and global business environment High degree of business acumen and people acumen, and ability to influence business leaders at an executive level and within HR as a virtual team leader Strong communications skills Demonstrated ability to partner
