We are seeking personnel selection researchers with a foundation in the development of pre-hire selection assessments, legally defensible assessment validation approaches, research methodology, and data analysis. We are looking for equal parts researchers and consultants who are highly adaptable and continual learners who thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will develop, implement, and optimize assessment solutions, allowing Amazon’s business to grow and scale. You will partner closely with their recruiting and business teams to design and experiment with new hiring solutions that predict success for roles that will have a large impact at Amazon. • Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field • 3+ years’ relevant experience in applied selection practices or talent acquisition strategies • Experience in the selection assessment development cycle: job analysis, content creation, validation, and scoring • Proficiency in at least one statistics program (SPSS, R, SAS, etc) · PhD in Industrial - Organizational Psychology or related field · Previous work experience in recruiting or assessment strategies · Excellent written and oral communication skills · Quantitative analytical abilities · Proven problem solving skills
