Amazon is seeking a delivery-oriented, strategic project/program manager to join our growing HR team supporting a global tech org of approximately 9,000 employees. This role will be a part of our Talent Acquisition team and focus on developing a labor planning model to help us be frugal as an organization, while also delivering for a rapidly expanding technology business. Additionally this program manager would own the cross-functional design, project implementation, and marketing for how the business engages with external communities of software developers. The candidate will have a proven record of full cycle project/program management, from conception and design through implementation, measurement and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is passionate about thinking big and long term--prioritizing many moving parts. They can simultaneously work with senior leaders and dig deep into metrics to drive their thinking. · 5+ years of relevant program/project management experience including financial accountability · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary degree in business, HR or related field · Experience leading cross-functional projects with demonstrated expertise leading without authority to achieve results · Excellent written and verbal communications skills · High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously· Ability to develop and implement operational processes and procedures across geographically
