Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) is dedicated to building, managing and operating a global logistics network that enables selection from anywhere in the world and delivers customer orders to anywhere in the world, cost effectively. We are looking for a customer-obsessed Technical Project Manager to lead various transportation initiatives. As a TPM, you will help solve a variety of technical challenges in the logistics space. You will play an active role directing a portfolio of projects, evaluating business and functional requirements to ensure we create and deploy flexible, scalable platforms to allow unfettered growth across all of Amazon’s business lines. You will also invent new features to support new business initiatives and functional needs. In addition, successful candidates will be able to lead by example, balance development responsibilities while participating in cross team efforts including architecture planning. · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a technical field (e.g. computer science, engineering) · Technical Program Management experience in a related industry · Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience leading large technical initiatives · Strong analytical/quantitative skills and ambition to develop these further · Experience in working with multiple internal/external stakeholders to identify/collect/implement technical requirements related to logistics flows · Ability to deal with ambiguities, conflicting priorities and multi-cultural environment. · Excellent written and verbal communication
