We are looking for a senior individual with a proven record of accomplishment and strong skills in multi-disciplinary business and technology strategy, business operations, communications, customer and partner engagement and internal stakeholder management. The role of Silicon Program Manager supports the Azure Cloud Server Infrastructure (Azure-CSI) group in managing strategy and execution, semester planning, internal and external partner relationships, COGS modelling, and success metrics. This role calls for a balance of leadership and influence skills across the senior leaders within the team and beyond, a strong foundation in business planning and program management, and solid technical skills. As a key member of the Cloud Silicon program management team, you'll have an essential voice for how we deploy and manage new silicon technologies in the Microsoft Cloud, including purpose-built silicon i.e. new/novel ASICs and related technologies. You'll also be a key resource to help support

As Silicon Program Manager, you'll be the person responsible for: Feature / Capabilities Planning : Understanding use cases for key Microsoft cloud services that will benefit from silicon acceleration, and mapping the services' requirements to technical capabilities of underlying silicon and their deployment configurations – all while keeping in mind the servicing model, scalability issues, product lifecycle, and costs (CapEx and OpEx). Hardware Development – practices, processes, and methodologies. I.e. navigate build, verify, test, qualify cycles; define entrance/exit gates between program phases;
Requirements/Qualifications and Previous Work and Related Experience (including educational requirements): Demonstrated excellent analytical, problem resolution and decision-making skills. Superior judgment, team building, budgeting, and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure required. Proven experience in effective cross group, cross company, and cross industry collaboration. Personal maturity, lives and models Microsoft values. Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to build compelling internal/external presentations and comprehensive business review
