Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to own multiple initiatives across the AWS website. As a TPM for AWS Marketing, you will be responsible for driving and delivering multiple complex web projects simultaneously. Your primary focus will be enhancing the services that support content management, content delivery, and content presentation. You will also play a key role in defining the feature roadmap of these services. In this role, you will provide project leadership, anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate project risks, quantify the impact of making tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints. You will work closely with stakeholders across various design, software and business teams to identify and drive innovative solutions that achieve business goals and align with long term product roadmaps. · 5+ years of technical project management experience in a related industry · Working knowledge of current front-end web technologies (e.g. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) · Working knowledge of current web architecture best practices (e.g. design for security, resilience, performance) · Experience delivering features on large scale, high traffic websites · Experience with the entire software development lifecycle from inception to testing to production deployment and maintenance · Ability to manage multiple parallel projects and delivering quality releases on schedule · Strong communication skills, specifically
