The Registration and Identity Verification team's mission is to: (a) make it simple and fast for Sellers to register globally, (b) verify the identity of every person and business selling on Amazon through the Seller lifecycle, and (c) use automation to achieve accuracy, speed, and scale. When we are successful, we enable Marketplace growth and build trust with our Customers. The current registration experience is designed around Marketplaces. Each Marketplace/Region has an independent registration pipeline, and we require Sellers to register and verify their identity each time they expand into a new Marketplace or Region. Our vision for global registration is to eliminate friction during registration to allow new Sellers to launch globally and allow existing Sellers to expand globally with minimal effort. We are looking for a Senior Program Manager, who will be responsible for identifying the roadblocks in the Seller experience by analyzing feedback and contacts and launching initiatives
· BS or BA in computer science, engineering, math, finance, or economics · 7+ years of program management or consulting experience in technology focused business · Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior business leaders · Proven ability to collaborate with and effectively influence remote teams in multiple time zones· MBA · Prior experience managing technical products or online services · Advanced Knowledge of SQL and VBA or willingness to learn · Entrepreneurial spirit, with track record for delivering
