As a CO and I Senior Program Manager of New Initiatives , you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform. We are looking for a passionate, high energy individual to help protect the critical infrastructure that powers some of the world's largest online services. Empower Billions! Skills and Capabilities that are critical to success include: Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspects of datacenter operations Develop, manage and maintain project/program related processes, procedures, reports, training, and improvement plans Document and improve work processes in order to make workflow more efficient and productive Collaborate across groups within CO and I and across the company to overcome challenges and deliver results Oversee assigned projects to ensure they are delivered in accordance with established requirements and timelines and within budget
Basic Qualifications: 10+ years' experience in Project or Program Management, preferably at a technology company with a focus on project lifecycle management and implementation of industry program management methodologies Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent work experience Willingness to support a flexible travel schedule (up to 20%) Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of Cloud computing principles including how IAAS supports PAAS and SAAS services Project or program management certification(s) (PMI, CAPM, etc.) Experience working in datacenter
