Amazon is looking for a highly-intelligent, high-judgment, self-motivated and creative public relations professional to join the team responsible for telling cross-Amazon stories around seasonal retail moments like Mother's Day, Father's Day, Back to School and more as well as pop culture events like Super Bowl. The ideal candidate will have experience managing proactive media relations including PR plans, pitching media, executing events, tracking coverage and identifying timely opportunities. This individual is full of creative ideas and pitch angles, enjoys wrangling multiple people and projects at the same time with a smile, loves pop culture and keeping up with the latest influencer campaigns. They'll watch YouTube and know who the next YouTube star will be, they read US Weekly and Refinery 29 and they look at an editorial calendar as an opportunity to tell 12 months of compelling stories. · Bachelor’s degree · 5+ years public relations experience · 3+ years PR experience in consumer · Experience working with social media campaigns and influencers · Experience executing press tours and large-scale events · Network of media contacts and a deep understanding of the news media · Excellent written and verbal communication· The ability to bring together a large team with competing priorities and lead them toward a common goal · Outstanding attention to detail and bias for action · Standards so high most people would find them unreasonable · Thrives in a collaborative environment and is
