Amazon Marketplace Web Service (Amazon MWS) Developer Support builds on this by offering proactive and reactive support and solutions to Developers building customer-facing solutions. Amazon MWS is an integrated Web service API that enables Amazon sellers to programmatically exchange data on listings, orders, payments, reports, and more. Data integration with Amazon enables higher levels of selling automation, which helps sellers grow their business. We are seeking a Support Engineering Manager to lead the Amazon MWS Developer Support team. This team provides technical assistance to external developers, investigates problems with the service, builds internal tools, and provides valuable consultation to internal service owners. · BS in Computer Science or equivalent · A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (Support Engineering / Software Development) · Minimum of 3 years of experience managing and developing direct reports (performance review communication, accountability, motivation/engagement) · Technically sound in software development activities and life cycles · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Strong analytic and problem solving skills. · Experience with XML, SOAP, REST, and web services · Experience in technical customer support · Experience using Amazon Web Services · Experience using Amazon
