The Consumer and Devices Sales (CDS) team is seeking a driven sales leader with strong partner account management experience to drive new global partners in identifying and leading joint opportunities in new product categories, including IoT and Skype Room Services among others. The role requires exceptional partner relationship and leadership skills with a combination of business development, marketing and partner management expertise to foster a strategic partnership that will lead to the development of industry leading GTM plans to drive the Microsoft platform and services. This role offers a great opportunity to be at the center of multiple groups, both externally and internally at Microsoft. Success will require collaboration within CDS as well as with various roles (e.g. technical, sales, marketing, etc.) across Microsoft product groups to develop plans to establish new categories and drive sustained success with these new partners. Success will be measured by overall unit/services growth through these new partners across the new product categories. Key responsibilities in this role are: • Account Management: Develop deep, trusting relationships with WW senior leaders within new partner organizations to ensure we align on strategies as well as execution plans and metrics. Proactively lead joint partner planning process to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with each business opportunity. Assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis. • Strategic Planning:
Required Experience • 8-10 years related sales experience • Proven success in closing complex deals + technical understanding of devices and commercial and/or Enterprise customer requirements • Proven ability to manage partner sales relationships effectively at senior executive levels • Strong team player: Work effectively across teams to solve customer and partner issues • Strategic thinking and execution: Ability to develop sales and business strategy options, while also being able to successfully execute on complex opportunities. • Strong communications and presentation skills and good understanding
