Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced leader to drive the strategy for all AWS sales events including the annual Worldwide Sales Kickoff (SKO) and Regional Technical Summits. In this role, you will work with senior sales leadership and functional stakeholders around the world to develop an integrated AWS sales event strategy that is uniquely Amazonian, reflecting Amazon’s culture and leadership principles while preparing our field organization to better serve customers. You will be responsible for understanding the needs of the business and our sellers, and working backwards to design an impactful program experience across all events, blending relevant content, networking, peer learning, storytelling, and recognition. You will work closely with subject matter experts from Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Product Development in an advisor capacity to help guide decisions around session topics and format. You will institute a scalable mechanism for curating, developing,

· 15+ years’ experience managing global events, both in-person and virtual, with multiple stakeholders, sessions, and activities. · Experience designing sales training programs and/or events for a high-growth, technology company. · Experience presenting to and influencing senior-level executives. · Experience building and managing teams.· Big thinker who can easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution. · Ability to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization with grace and efficiency. · Excellent at creating and maintaining working relationships
