Amazon’s legal department is looking for a talented Associate Contracts Manager based in Seattle to support its Customer Trust and Selling Partner Support organization. Customer Trust and Selling Partner Support is at the forefront of ensuring that Amazon customers receive authentic, high quality items from Amazon and preventing all forms of abuse in the Amazon stores. We are seeking someone with outstanding communication skills, discretion, and judgment, as this person will frequently interact with senior professionals inside and outside the company. Key responsibilities include: · Drafting and negotiating contracts with brands utilizing Amazon’s brand protection services; · Responding to intellectual property infringement issues and other abuse escalations; · Reviewing marketing material, help content and external correspondence to sellers and brands; · Advising internal clients on intellectual property issues; · Helping to improve processes for rapidly growing teams. · 3+ years contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department · Bachelor’s Degree · Working knowledge of legal concepts related to intellectual property disputes, including trademark and copyright law. · Strong written and verbal communication skills.
