The Business Development (BD) organization is seeking a Business Operations Associate (BOA) for the Office of the Executive Vice President. BD accelerates Microsoft's mission and ambitions by identifying and nurturing high impact partnerships, investments, and acquisitions across the company. The BOA will report to the Chief of Staff (CoS) and support the office of the EVP and the organization, including the CoS, Executive Assistant (EA), Business Manager, and Communications team. This role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important, as is a good sense of humor. Serve as back-up for EVP's EA when needed and support EA in day-to-day EVP operations Manage event logistics for BD organization including quarterly All Hands, BD Summit, BDLT meetings, offsites, team morale events and Give Campaign, including venue selection and all meeting details and preparations Manage and maintain CoS's calendar, travel arrangements, expense reports, purchasing office equipment and supplies for the organization Support CoS Team in EVP meeting prep and trip planning to ensure appropriate background information/documentation is prepared in advance of EVP business and partner
• 4+ years of related work experience • Excellent organizational, analytical, anticipatory, and written communications skills • Ability to work across organizational boundaries • Executive maturity, presence; models Microsoft values • Must be assertive and have a high level of integrity and consistently demonstrate a positive "can-do" attitude with the ability to maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive material with tact and professionalism • Eager and able to work effectively under pressure with short time constraints and in relatively ambiguous and complex situations, as well as the
