Prime Video is changing the way millions of people watch movies and TV shows and is now available in over 200 countries and territories. Prime Video (PV) Personalization seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the delivery of our personalization systems. This is a strategic role to shape and deliver our technical strategy in developing and deploying Machine Learning solutions to address our more challenging customer facing problems. Our goal is to delight customers by consistently presenting the most relevant movies and TV shows from our vast catalog of titles. We are investing heavily in building the #1 TV and movie recommendation engine in the entertainment industry, attacking the ‘whole page optimization’ problem which is an area of emerging research in the industry, and developing customer insights that bring astounding relevance to our features. · Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field · 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry, including hands-on management of large, cross-functional software efforts · Ability to conceptualize complex interrelated applications and system platforms, as well as the ability to effectively communicate those systems to non-technical team members and business partners · Experience managing efforts in distributed systems and/or developing large scale web applications · Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects through work prioritization,
