Microsoft US Surface Sales and Strategy team is seeking an experienced Surface Sales Strategy Lead to drive the evolution of our US Enterprise, Regulated Industries (RI), SMC-C, Marketing and Operations (M and O) Surface Commercial sales models. This role is responsible for driving key efficiencies into the customer offer creation process and optimizing field resources and planning efforts to help land our priorities and strategies across tour "3 Clouds and a Surface" strategy. This is a highly strategic and analytical position that is responsible for supporting and driving the communities accountable for connecting across the Sales, Partner and Device teams to learn, share and leverage best practices for landing our strategic priorities for Surface Commercial.
Operational Excellence Develop short- and long-term vision, strategy and planning for the growth and evolution of the Surface Commercial sales model Track, analyze and report on status of programs, pilots, business model changes and relevant competitor program tactics that may require modification of our strategic plan for Surface Lead critical strategic initiatives for the business, including analyzing and framing options with rationale, aligning sponsors/stakeholders, and aiding implementation Identify and develop opportunities to unlock new Surface revenue streams, drive customer satisfaction,
Required Qualifications: 10+ years' experience at the level of a Business Manager, Product Manager or Project/Program Manager within a sale and marketing setting with prior leadership experience in seller pipeline, forecasting and change management Proven experience in effecting change, driving business strategy and process optimization, and organization design through effective cross group collaboration and group evangelization in a matrix organization at an eco-system level Field sales experience Knowledge of business processes, sales cycles, and pipeline/forecasting management Proven track record
