Global Business Operations (GBO) is a diverse team that supports infrastructure and other foundational initiatives that span and support Sales, Marketing and Support teams within AWS. In that capacity, we are seeking a well-qualified candidate for the role of Incentive Compensation Design Associate. The Incentive Compensation Design Associate is responsible for supporting the designing, implementing, monitoring and analyzing the sales incentive programs and policies to best achieve the organization's strategic and operational objectives, while reinforcing pay for performance under a consistent framework. Typical areas of responsibility include anticipating and planning for both short- and long-term reward needs and trends; developing incentive compensation programs; and developing associated HR and management communications. This role collaborates with line management, HR Business Partners, Sales management, Legal, and functional management to address incentive compensation program needs

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline · 5+ years of compensation experience to include significant knowledge and experience with sales incentive plan best practices and innovative critical design thinking · Broad-based compensation knowledge and experience desired · Presentation and communication skills, including consultative problem-solving skills · Business writing ability and experience, as preferred means of internal communication of ideas, discussion, assessment and feedback · Ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines · Matrix management, cross-functional
