Amazon seeks a Senior Treasury Analyst to join the Treasury Control Team, which oversees M and A Integrations, Exposure Management, and Middle Office treasury activities. This analyst will work cross-functionally across Amazon but particularly with other Treasury stakeholders. The primary responsibilities of this position will relate to Exposure Management and Middle Office, and activities will include risk analyses, credit analyses, administration of static payment instructions, FX trade confirmations, and exceptions and investigations handling for FX transactions. This position requires a self-starter who can manage competing priorities and communicate effectively and efficiently with business and Treasury partners. Strong analytic skills and business intelligence tools knowledge are also required. This person will work to continuously locate and present these risks in a clear manner to senior management, and will have direct ownership of Amazon’s counterparty exposure management process
· BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, or applicable field · 5+ years of Treasury or applicable experience · MBA or MS in Finance, Economics or a related field · Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation · Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills · Advanced BI reporting skills · Experience with automated self-service reporting tools · Knowledge of database structures and management · Familiarity with FX trading operations, FX trading platforms (e.g. FXAll, 360T, and Bloomberg FX GO), and both domestic and international payment settlement processes · Basic knowledge of foreign exchange
