Amazon seeks a Senior Treasury Analyst to join the Treasury Capital Markets Team, which oversees global foreign exchange operations, fixed income portfolio management, and capital markets transactions. Amazon Treasury owns global cash management, foreign exchange trading, investment management, and bank relationship management. While this position will require cross-functional partnerships, primary responsibilities will focus on foreign exchange, fixed income and CP execution, as well as reporting, analysis, and process improvement with regard to Amazon’s investments. The successful candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity and balancing multiple competing priorities, and will be required to work closely with banking counterparties to establish new and develop existing relationships. This analyst will work cross-functionally both within Treasury and with the broad and diverse set of Amazon business lines. · BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, or applicable field · 5+ years of Treasury or applicable experience· Familiarity with foreign exchange trading operations · Knowledge of institutional banking and payment systems · Familiarity with foreign exchange trading operations · Knowledge of foreign exchange hedging strategies and/or credit markets · Ability to work independently to drive implementation of small and large-scale process improvements · Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills · The ability to self-start and work independently in a fast-paced environment · Keen attention to detail
