The Minecraft team is looking for an experienced Gaming Product Marketing Manager to support all strategy, planning, execution, and coordination related to the marketing of Minecraft monetization opportunities, including Minecraft Marketplace, subscriptions and new initiatives. The ideal candidate has expertise in product marketing strategies and activities, has managed GTM for mobile games-as-a-service components or has managed a modern day subscription service with mobile offerings, and has experience managing fast-paced digital go-to-market processes. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for product branding, positioning and overall marketing strategies, for the Minecraft Marketplace, including future subscription services, as well as managing ongoing marketing for Minecraft Java and Windows 10 Assist and mentor other Marketing teammates with Monetization strategies and marketing best practices in support of games-as-a-service business models Work closely with a cross functional team, including partnering with engineering leads, data science, creative teams, and marketing leads, to create, own and execute the product go-to-market plans for key marketplace
Minimum Qualifications: 5 years Gaming Industry experience, as a product marketing manager, producer or similar roles. 2 years in mobile gaming experience 2 years of experience in free-to-play Bachelor's degree Experience working with in-game monetization and/or subscription content services. Preferred Qualifications MBA preferred. Experience working in an agile gaming environment. Driven marketer with strong marketing experience in gaming, social media, ecommerce or digital products strongly preferred.
