Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role on the Amazon Go Finance team supporting Operations. This is a great opportunity to support an exciting new business within Amazon as a go-to finance partner. The successful candidate will be a key finance business partner supporting Amazon Go Store Operations, Supply Chain and Transportation, and will work closely with key teams and stakeholders to improve operating performance. The candidate will need to be strategic, analytical and have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage financial responsibilities and decision making in a rapidly evolving business. The role requires a self-starter with strong business modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast paced and ambiguous environment, and a proven track record of influencing business partners. This job has regular interaction with various business units across Amazon and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. Primary responsibilities
· BA/BS degree in Finance or related field and 5+ years of relevant finance experience OR MBA/MS and 3+ years of relevant finance experience· MBA or MS in Finance or a related field · Advanced Excel and business modeling skills · Track record of partnering with business owners to develop and define key business questions and build data sets that answer those questions · Strong analytical and communication skills with an ability to articulate complex financial views to business teams · Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment ·
