We're looking for a highly collaborative, creative, energetic finance professional who can lead Opex financial controls and process across Microsoft US Marketing and Operations organization and support both US Finance and Leadership team. As a key member of the FP and A Finance team you will partner across several businesses including Finance, Marketing and Operations, and Central Finance. You will be responsible for leading Variable spend (marketing, external resources, and investment fund) forecasting, outlook, budgeting across Microsoft US subsidiary and directly support the Marketing and Operations Organization. You will drive greater fiscal responsibility and management through the close, forecast, and planning cycles and through timely and impactful reporting and analysis. Your core responsibilities will include: Own and lead monthly business partner reviews of operating expense spend Own and lead variable spend fiscal planning process, target setting, budgeting, quarterly forecasting, etc. Own and lead tracking and reporting of investment funds and financial modeling partnering closely with Investment Controller. Own Opex Management for MSUS Marketing and Operations organization Contribute to monthly financial close process in close partnership with P and L Lead Proactively provide assess and provide insight into risk and opportunities to P and L Lead for weekly
Minimum 5+ years of finance experience in a large organization including business partnering experience BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related degrees; CPA and/or MBA a plus. Expertise in financial planning and analysis, including: accounting, forecasting, planning, reporting, analysis, and developing financial models Strong ability, expertise and/or aptitude to work with Microsoft's financial systems, policies, and tools (Mercury, MSRA, PlanCast, BWB, Headtax, Alfred, SAP). Above average Excel skills, Power BI, Demonstrated experience in problem solving and project management with proven ability
