This role is inherently cross-functional and requires a strong ability to influence others -- you will work closely with teams across the company, including Legal, engineering, operations, and security to deliver privacy solutions. We are looking for someone who thrives on solving challenges in partnership with teams across Amazon. You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that’s higher than many programs and display high levels of bias for action, ownership, and accountability. You will formulate and execute privacy processes in Kindle necessary to achieve goals, provide coordination for compliance efforts, and contribute to leadership reviews and reporting. · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience · 5+ years of relevant work experience in Program Management· Experience working with challenges related to customer privacy and information security · Experience designing and implementing mechanisms (measurements, etc.) to ensure long-term product success, including compliance · Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams, communicate with colleagues in both business and technical roles · Demonstrated organizational skills, and ability to work independently and autonomously · Experience leading virtual teams with influence rather than authority
