As a senior product manager – technical on the Consumer, Digital and Other (CDO) Privacy team, you will be working in an agile environment solving enterprise scale privacy challenges by delivering innovation solutions. The privacy team delivers centralized privacy solutions (services, risk and compliance, education, privacy by design, etc.) to protect customer trust. We deliver these solutions in a way that exceeds Amazon’s privacy bar and complies with privacy and data protection regulation, without inhibiting innovation. This role is inherently cross-functional and requires a strong ability to influence others - you will work closely with teams across the company, including Legal, engineering, and business owners to drive solution integration. You must be able to effectively partner with engineers across the company to deliver against the integration plan, including continually improving the corresponding processes and technology, e.g., responsible for the end-to-end internal customer
· Bachelor’s degree required and 6+ years of program management experience. · 3+ years experience in developing new products and services · Experience leading virtual teams with influence rather than authority (exceptional influencing and negotiation skills). · Ability to effectively lead cross-company programs from initiation through delivery, managing dependencies and bottlenecks, anticipating and making tradeoffs, balancing the business need versus constraints and maximizing business benefit while building exceptional customer experience. · Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
