Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO +I) is the team behind the cloud. CO+I is responsible for delivering over 200 Microsoft web portals, Live and Online Services around the world including infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability. Our focus is on smart growth, high efficiency, and delivering a trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide. We are looking for a passionate, high energy individual to help build the network that powers the world's largest online services. To keep pace with increasing customer demand for cloud services, Microsoft's cloud infrastructure capacity is growing rapidly. In order to deliver cloud services to our customers worldwide, our datacenter operations teams must perform deployment, repair, maintenance and decommissioning tasks on one of the world's largest information technology fleets. The Processes and Standards team provides datacenter operations with processes, tools, and information necessary to perform

Key responsibilities: Partner with field operations to surface and standardize best practices globally Identify and catalog key IT processes and procedures Rank and prioritize process improvement efforts Identify and set process execution standards Analyze telemetry and process performance data relative to standard Identify, design, and specify software and hardware engineering features and investments to improve process performance and IT fleet availability Partner with engineering, change management, training and operations teams to implement updated processes and to assess impact to standard
Knowledge, experience and skills: 5+ years' experience in program and/or project management 5+ years of datacenter experience and/or a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously. Proven success in participating in cross-functional teams to deliver on key projects. Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, computer science or equivalent experience Preferred, not required: Practical knowledge of ITIL concepts and terminology Experience with Six Sigma, LEAN and continuous improvement
