The Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) Customer Enablement team is a growing team of advanced specialists that provides operational and strategic support to a specialized group of accounts ranging from universities, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. As the Strategic Initiatives Program Manager for the Customer Enablement team, your initial focus will be on creating the strategic framework from which the Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) organization will drive cost optimization initiatives for our customers. This will include partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Business operations to develop programs and processes to better enable our customers to take advantage of AWS products and services in the most cost efficient manner. Basic Qualifications · 5+ years of technology related sales, technical sales, enterprise cloud and/or business development · Experience with cloud billing and optimization · Proven experience developing and leading large scale programs or initiatives · Proven experience leading cross-functional teams · Proven experience working with sales to optimize the selling experience · Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze large data sets, create financial models, and simplify complex data · BA/BS degree required Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority
