Deployment Engineering team Principal Program Manager
Azure is looking for a passionate Principal Program Manager to help it keep up with its customer demand by being part of its Readiness and Deployment Engineering team, which is responsible for ensuring that sellable capacity is available for Microsoft customers for their workloads. This is your opportunity to lead and develop our strategy specific to server readiness and deployment allowing us to keep pace with the exponential growth of the Microsoft Cloud. The Principal PM of Readiness and Deployment Engineering is focused on providing thought leadership across all areas of server deployments which enables the Microsoft Cloud to scale across all engineering groups. You will work with senior engineering leaders across the company to define the deployment roadmap and to land the strategic vision necessary to consistently deliver cloud capacity on a global scale. You will craft recommendations and partner with corporate strategy, engineering, and go-to-market teams to drive the implementation

Business strategy: Develop and land business strategies for CPDE specific to the new data center provisioning pipeline. Insights development: Lead business planners and partner with other data teams across our engineering organization to craft the insights needed to support business strategy and portfolio optimization initiatives that drive cycle time reduction through parallelization. Continuous Improvement: Drive root cause analysis of previous deliveries and continually refine our approach that will increase our time to market for all new cloud data center locations. The ideal candidate will
BS in Engineering or Computer Science or Quantitative fields. in lieu of above, 10+ years combined experience: Program Management, Data Science, Operations, Software Development or technical/engineering role(s). 7+ years of experience leading process engineering and/or implementing automation systems. Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience in collaborating across technical engineering teams and senior leadership. Strong written communication and presentation skills.
