Amazon Technical Academy (ATA) is an end-to-end learning and placement program designed to empower those without a software engineering background to take on technical roles within the company. In 2018, we completed a proof-of-concept intensive program that successfully launched 100% of graduates into SDE1 roles. We aim to expand worldwide, enabling thousands of Amazonians in non-technical roles to level up their careers as SDE1s, and thereby creating a technical talent pipeline that is diverse, high-quality, and frugal when compared against standard hiring channels. To support this long-term vision, we seek a Sr. Product Manager responsible for ATA’s global expansion. In this role, you will: · Design the long term strategy to expand ATA globally · Build demand through outreach and marketing to participate in Amazon Technical Academy · Partner with other existing programs across
· Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or graduate degree preferred· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills. · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, including work prioritization, planning and task delegation. · Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. · Demonstrated ability to delivery results in a fast-moving environment. · Ability to work cross-functionally and build support for projects. · Willingness to roll up sleeves, tackle diverse and varied problems, and find innovative, scalable solutions.
