Minecraft inspires millions to create together, connects people across the globe, and fosters a community that is among the most active and passionate in the world. Minecraft is widely available across virtually every platform and continues to grow rapidly. In addition to being one of the most-widely played games of all time, Minecraft is increasingly used in the classroom to support learning across a wide range of subjects. We launched Minecraft: Education Edition in 2016 to meet this need and are continuing to grow to support teaching and learning opportunities in new markets. The Minecraft: Education Edition team is looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager with a passion for education, experience in the China market, as well as an entrepreneurial spark to join us in our mission to empower teachers and students with Minecraft. It is a chance to change how people teach and learn, and to influence and shape education for the long-term. As a Marketing Product Manager for Minecraft:

Build and execute B2B and B2C marketing strategies and plans for the Minecraft: Education Edition business in China Establish trust, manage, and foster relationships with key local business partners Coordinate custom asset development and localization for China, overseeing asset approval process with the Studio teams in Redmond and Stockholm Design and execute local content campaigns and/or activations on O and O/partner channels in support of key calendar beats Develop influencer strategies for growth market Minecraft Mentors (in partnership with the Minecraft: Education Edition Community lead)
Knowledge of education technology industry and trends Understanding of China education ecosystem preferred Experience in brand management and ensuring partners adapt and implement brand values and guidelines in all creative executions, marketing campaigns, and partnership investments Strong project management skills Passion for working in ambiguous, fast-paced start-up environments 6+ years of business and consumer marketing experience across large-scale consumer brands Experience in working with China business partners preferred Demonstrated experience negotiating successful deals with external
