Are you an analytical product leader who thrives in ambiguity? Do you have the business acumen and the technical background necessary to provide a vision and experience in a product ownership role? Are you just as excited diving into complex challenges as you are in influencing leadership on strategic and tactical areas? The Amazon Consumables Private Brands team needs a Sr. Product Manager to drive the design and execution of our strategic roadmap. The Team: The Amazon Accelerator program is designed to enable established manufacturers to rapidly launch their products on Amazon. Accelerator participants create Amazon-exclusive brands that they own and manufacture their entire catalog of products under these brands. This program is in start-up mode and looking for someone who is ready to take ownership and join a tightly-knit team tackling a very interesting and challenging opportunity. The Role: You will own the definition, execution, and delivery of our product features. This role requires
· 7+ years of relevant experience in product management · Undergraduate CS, Engineering, Science, or Math degree or MBA. · Experience managing products through entire life cycle – from inception to launch. · Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products to world-wide markets.· Experience using rapid prototyping and other creative mechanisms to gather direct customer feedback early in the product development process. · Experience developing and launching V1 products; comfort with ambiguity and nascent markets. · General manager/owner mentality, entrepreneurial drive, and proven ability
