The Amazon Kindle team is looking for an innovative, analytical and results-oriented Principal Product Manager-Technical to help grow our nonfiction eBooks business. This person will work to improve the quality of the content that we deliver to our customers, ensuring a world-class reading experience and driving engagement with Kindle books. The ideal candidate will have an established track record of working with technical teams and cross-functional partners to develop customer experiences, strong analytical skills, excellent project management and business management skills. In this role, you will need to be an effective communicator and have the motivation to achieve results in an ambiguous space. This position requires someone who can think creatively about new opportunities in a fast-paced environment. Specific responsibilities include the following: · Lead the definition and creation of innovative business, product and customer experience concepts with the extended team of business

· 5+ years product development experience in consumer-focused technology companies. · Bachelor's degree is required. · Proven experience leading software engineers (direct or indirect). · Proven track record of launching successful consumer-facing software, enterprise-facing software, mobile, or online products and services. · MBA, and a BS in Computer Science or related technical field. · Strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to
