The Physical Retail (Amazon Books, Amazon 4-star, and Presented by Amazon) team is looking for a Program Manager to drive innovative operational solutions that make our physical stores places our Customers love to shop. We’ve applied Amazon’s 20 years of online retailing experience to build stores that integrate the benefits of offline and online shopping. Responsibilities include: · Planning and conducting a regular cadence of program and key initiative leadership reviews at both strategic and highly tactical grains · Developing and refining a framework for the management, reporting, and analysis of our strategic priorities and goals and our progress toward them · Innovating on behalf of our field teams to ensure that the programs we drive maximize their investment in time, mindshare, and resources while empowering the stores with the tools, time, and focus to constantly exceed our Customers’ expectations · Managing cross-functional project teams; planning, organizing, and executing complex
· BA or BS from an accredited university · 3+ years in product, program, or project management · 3+ years of experience with root cause analysis and process design · Data-driven decision making or quantitative analysis skills (including deep knowledge of Excel and SQL) · Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences · Experience working with cross functional teams · Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments · 3+ years of supply chain and/or retail industry experience · 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional programs, including external and internal
