Amazon's Engineering Excellence Team (EE) provides technical and leadership training to Amazon’s technical community. We empower technical Amazonians to learn from, share expertise with, and teach other technical Amazonians. To do this, we rely on volunteer trainers from across the company. We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to run and expand our community training for both online and classroom-based training. Your role is to connect Amazonians who need to develop technical and professional skills with other Amazonians who are experts in those areas. You’ll listen to your customers about where they need training, and drive conversations with experts to get those needs met. At the same time, you’ll provide mechanisms (in the form of templates, processes, etc) for anyone who wants to create training to create and manage it in our catalog. You will work across EE to align community contributions to other EE programs, and work with the Community Product Manager to ensure course
· BA/BS with at least 3 years of program management experience · Excellent program management and project management skills with proven results · Proven ability to lead and manage at senior levels without direct authority · Excellent oral and written communications skills · Demonstrated ability to lead and manage without direct authority · Ability to use data and metrics to make program improvements · Experience creating learning and design products · Experience implementing and managing training programs · Experience driving a global program · Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action
