The Product Safety team is seeking a detail-oriented Product Safety Specialist for our Worldwide Product Compliance Operations team. What you do? · You process Product Safety Review cases for Amazon.com, and Amazon.ca · You will contribute to process development and create best practices by putting forth improvement idea · You will communicate professionally with internal and external partners throughout the Product Safety review process · You will assess product safety risk to our customers and Amazon.com guided by written procedures and using sound judgement · Other tasks may be assigned as needed.
· 2+ year of operationally-oriented experience · Strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills · Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team, including adherence to core values and dynamic corporate culture · Must be able to gather and format large data sets for executive review · Must be able to use Excel, Word and other common desktop software applications. Must also be comfortable learning web applications and proprietary software · Fluent in English · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent · Knowledge of consumer product safety regulations
