Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly effective candidate to identify, create, develop and integrate innovative memory based technology to deliver the best operating, lowest cost infrastructure in the world. AWS is seeking a Technical Product Manager to live, eat and breathe memory innovation. You will work with many engineering teams, in and outside of AWS, to create new memory products. You will lead the technical product strategy of storage platforms systems technologies (Hard drive, Solid State Drives, Host Bus adaptors, Storage enclosures) and products to better meet our customers rapidly growing infrastructure needs. You are expected to bring strong knowledge of storage systems and proven ability to drive product roadmaps from concept through mass production. Unbound by the status quo of today’s technology landscape, You will lead and own key strategic projects and ensure successful completion. Primary Responsibilities: · Develop storage based product strategy for AWS Storage
· 10+ years of technical experience in storage enclosure hardware and device technologies (SSD/HDD/HBA) product development · 5+ years of experience in technical marketing, or product management · BS in Electrical Engineering or related field. · Technical knowledge and market expertise in storage eco system (Networking, Data management, datacenter design) · Ability to communicate clearly and drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong and talented team. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Advanced Engineering degree and/or MBA · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles
